Yoga-Ayurveda (YA) Coaching
For treatment and potential remediation of chronic conditions and disorders
Body*ology staff builds customized wellness programs for you. Measures and activities are specified to promote better health and meet and treat disorders, imbalances, and dis-ease, specific to the individual.
YA Coaching is a modern, holistic approach to health and well-being based on venerable eastern medical principles. YA Coaching will span twelve weeks and include 1.) One 2-hour consultation at the beginning of the first four week phase 2.) Two 1.5 hour consultations at the beginning of the remaining two four week phases, 3.) a series of 30-minute check-ins throughout program development and implementation, and 4.) a final 30-minute session to establish the maintenance best practices. In total, there will be seven sessions across the three phases: one two hour session, two 1.5 hour sessions, and four 30 minute sessions.
YA Consultation
YA Coaching is phased and starts with an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultation. The initial 2 hour consultation will delve into your lifestyle habits, stress levels, sleep patterns, and overall health concerns to develop a customized plan that aligns with your specific needs. Reuben, a top Ayurvedic expert in the area, with your input, assess your mind-body constitution, or dosha, which is made up of the factors vata, pitta, and kapha. Understanding your unique combination of these factors or profile, Reuben will give you personalized recommendations for diet, yoga postures, daily routine, and herbal remedies to restore balance and harmony in your body and mind.
Through the guidance of your Ayurvedic Life-style Consultation, you will be empowered to make positive changes that promote longevity, vitality, and optimal health.
YA Lifestyle Conditioning
Two weeks after the 2 hour and each 1.5 hour consultation, a 30-minute virtual appointment is scheduled to assess the effectiveness of suggested means, methods and activities to align one's daily routine with optimal balance of mind and body.
Dietary choices and yoga exercises are reevaluated for sustainability. Participants will learn the postures to practice, how to practice them, the benefits of each posture, and the best time and place to practice.
This holistic program provides participants with the necessary guidance and assistance to fully immerse themselves in the practice of yoga and the empowering effects of a balanced diet. By taking a comprehensive approach, individuals are able to receive the support they need to make the most of the program and reap the rewards of improved health and wellbeing. With a focus on both physical and mental transformation, this program aims to help participants achieve their wellness goals and adopt a more holistic approach to their overall lifestyle. Through a combination of yoga and dietary empowerment, individuals can gain the tools and knowledge they need to make positive and lasting changes in their lives.
